Hey y’all,

Its been awhile since I checked in with this here Tumblr - I do apologize.  Andrew and I are finally settling in for our first summer home in years!  We haven’t been able to enjoy the wondrous smells and sights of humid Philadelphia.  So, let me fill you in on whats happening w/ PIM, Inc:

1. We are currently working on recording our new record.  We will be hanging out in Philly all summer recording.  Hopefully we won’t be distracted by the shore/rita’s water ice/the Phillies and we’ll be able to finish this by summer’s end.

2. We are playing a handful of shows this summer and they all are pretty much the most awesome shows ever.  First, we play The Roots Picnic this Saturday (6/5) at The Festival Pier w/ Vampire Weekend, Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, Tune-Yards and so many more.  It’s pretty much going to be the raddest show in all of Philly.  Buy tickets now before they sell out.  As of now, we are slated to play at 2:30pm.  Don’t be late.  We will also be playing in NYC in July and August — more info coming soon.

3.  I will be Dj-ing at Johnny Brenda’s on Tuesday, June 8th for “The Love of Cider” Beer Week event.  Johnny Brenda’s is proud to feature Doc’s Draft Hard Cider on tap every day and they’ll celebrate with a full complement of their delicious draft ciders on tap and a special firkin which will be tapped at 7pm.  And if that wasn’t awesome enough - I will be DJing under the name DJ Elton Jawn.  I will be spinning only the smoothest jams.  The event starts at 7pm and ends when the Cider is all gone!
