Tomorrow is a very exciting day because we master the new Pattern is Movement record.  What began in 2009 has had some serious twists and turns, but tomorrow it will be finished!  We’ll be in the presence of a serious mastering heavyweight, Tony Dawsey, at Masterdisk.  He has mastered every Jay-Z album there is along with some other choice records from my childhood: EPMD, SWV, KRS-ONE, Redman, Jeru the damaja and on and
on. 

Just in case you are wondering — we have not made a hip-hop record, however, we definitely tapped into our R&B roots for this record.  This was definitely helped by mixing the record at Sigma Sound Studios in Philly (pretty much the R&B hub of Philadelphia) where people like the O’Jays, Erykah Badu, The Roots, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder as well as David Bowie and Billy Joel recorded their records.  We really felt the energy of the people who had come before us while mixing and are excited about the same thing with Tony tomorrow at Masterdisk.  We cannot wait to share this record with all of y’all and thank you so much for your support during this two years.
